Newly imagined ways of li stening to histories
Amplified Histories is an experimental session in listening, hearing and feeling stories from unheard voices. We invite our visitors to encounter a collection of handmade and speculative audio speakers: everyday objects built to experience what sound can do whe n it moves from and through surfaces, walls, ceilings but also bodies.

This tryout is the start of a research into Keileweg as a spatial histo ry, a place layered with questions of industry, ownership and different ty pes of workers. Aside from narrating these histories, we want to transmit them: through vibration and through the way sound travels differently depe nding on what it passes through.

We're interested in what happens wh en listening turns within: when you stop hearing a history from a distance and start feeling it move through you by unsung heroes. Be prepared to be curious, to stand still, to press your ear against something unheard.
