	he band now\nreturns as a 4-piece and worked with Marius Prins (Throwing B
	ricks) and Tim de\nGieter (Amenra\, Doodseskader\,..)\, resulting in a mas
	sive wall of sound. Drawing\nfrom many related genres\, the band seamlessl
	y combines elements from doom\,\nsludge\, shoegaze and post-rock.\n\nThist
	le Sifter\nThistle Sifter is the cinematic post-rock project of English mu
	sician Pete\nBarnes (Utrecht\, NL). Catapulted into disarray following a s
	erious cycling\naccident in November 2020\, Thistle Sifter became a platfo
	rm for Barnes to\nexpress his personal struggles and emotions\, transporti
	ng listeners into an\nethereal world of serene post-rock\, spacey synth am
	bience\, evolving soundscapes\n& lo-fi folk. The band has been captivating
	 audiences with its immersive\naudiovisual live experience throughout Euro
	pe in recent years. New album Forever\nThe Optimist will be released on 6t
	h February 2026.\n\n**Thrilled **\nHeavy Shoegaze anthems with interesting
	 chord progressions and big dynamic\nshifts caused by ear piercing fuzzes 
	and huge drums is what thrilled is all\nabout. Inspired by Shoegaze\, but 
	also Grunge\, Emo and many more genres. Having\nplayed at Left of the Dial
	 and being the support act for RIDE on their dutch\nstop of their EU tour 
	and Tramhaus\, this young band is seen by many as the most\npromising new 
	shoegaze band at the moment. The loud and fuzzy cacophony of\n’thrilled’ w
	ill give you all the goosebumps you need for the day.
